Elspeterbos
Our park is located on the edge of the beautiful Elspeterbos estate, a popular nature reserve in the region. The estate covers about 500 hectares and lies in the North Veluwe. At its heart is an ancient oak-beech forest, where the trees grow so tall and close together that even on warm summer days it remains pleasantly cool.
Right from the park, you can walk into the forest, and if you pay close attention, you won’t have to look long for wildlife. Roe deer, wild boar, red deer, and foxes are part of daily life in Elspeterbos. The best chance to spot them is early in the morning or at the end of the day, when the wildlife is more active. The forest is also highly recommended for bird watchers: special species like the black woodpecker, nuthatch, and golden oriole are no strangers here. Nature literally begins at your chalet.
