Unique: Elspeet has its own sheep flock! You can spot the animals on the Elspeetsche heide (heath). Wonderful to see how the shepherd works together with the dogs to drive and protect the flock.

The Zandenplas is an ideal place for a day out with the whole family, within cycling distance from our park. There is a nice sandy beach where you can swim wonderfully, and there is plenty of space for children to play.
This area is famous for its wild and rugged character, with wide open heathlands and stunning views over the Veluwe. With several well-marked trails to choose from, it is a perfect destination for longer walks.
The Speulderbos is also known as the "Forest of the Dancing Trees" due to the unique, twisted oak and beech trees. This ancient forest has a unique atmosphere, it is definitely worth a visit!
Around the Hulshorsterzand and the Leuvenumse Woods, you will find one of the most beautiful walking areas of the Veluwe. Wander over open heathland, through dense forests and along impressive drifting dunes.
The Asselsche heide (heath) is also beautiful to see, especially during the period when the heath is in bloom. It borders the Kroondomein Het Loo and is very suitable for walking and cycling trips with stunning views.
Kroondomein Het Loo is the largest contiguous estate in the Netherlands. The vast area of forests and heathlands offers tranquility, an impressive nature experience, and a rich history of the House of Orange.
