Kröller Müller Museum
Around 30 kilometers from Buitenplaats Elspeterbosch, hidden in the heart of National Park De Hoge Veluwe near Otterlo, lies the Kröller-Müller Museum. A unique combination of top art and nature, making it an outing you won't easily forget.
The museum houses the largest Van Gogh collection in the world, with more than 90 paintings and over 180 drawings. In addition, there are masterpieces by modern masters such as Monet, Picasso, Seurat, and Mondrian. Outside awaits one of the largest sculpture gardens in Europe, with impressive sculptures by artists including Barbara Hepworth and Jean Dubuffet, spread across a spacious park. Note: the museum is only accessible via the paid National Park De Hoge Veluwe, but once inside, you can use the park's white bicycles for free to explore the surroundings. Allow half to a full day for a complete visit.
