The area around Elspeet offers everything a hiker could wish for: dense pine forests, open heathlands, drifting sand dunes, and winding streams. The routes range from short loops of a few kilometers to extensive tours of 15 kilometers or more; there is a suitable route for every level. Keep your eyes open along the way: the Veluwe is rich in wildlife such as roe deer, wild boar, and numerous bird species.
